This was 2010, but have to share since it was my first handgun hunt, as well as the best buck I have taken. A 7x8 Muley at about 33 yards. He had three front teeth left, and molars ground flat- I am guessing around 6 years old. And for those that know handguns, a Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 mag. Speer Gold Dot 265 gr. factory load. As with any good hunting story, he was 1.5 miles and 7 hours of work back to the truck.

Let's use this thread to post pics of your deer taken by gun hunting. No bowhunted bucks (since you guys get a season that lasts for months and get first shot at all the big ones).

Maybe someone in here will get some nice ones!

Good luck!!

It would be neat if the moderator could keep this at the top (sticky) for a month or so.
Judging by the size of your print I'd say you use a powerful scope on your deer slayers.

Holy thread revival Batman! Just look at the date of this thing.

Nah. I took off the heavy 4-16 X 50 and put on a Nikon 3-9 X 40...

and I'm pretty deaf...
