We have coyotes here in Va where they never used to be until about ten or so years ago. Now they are thick as heck. I heard my first pack killing a deer during the early morning hours of archery this year and just shot my first one this weekend during the opening gun season. I shot one and went towards it and a second one was right behind it and ran off before I could get a shot. A second hunter with our group killed one about two seconds after I shot mine and was far enough away that it could not have been the second one I saw. I have seen a lot of big does this early season with no young ones with them and thats a first for me as well. We have lots of deer so hopefully they can take the thinning from these yotes!
