I think 149 is a little high, but it's still a great buck. I would certainly be proud of him. I'm thinking in the 130's. Congrats on a great buck.

Yeah!!! Great animal. Nice pics.
A 149 score on a 4 point is a very very good scoring animal.
If it is or will remain that score I don't know. But reguardless it's a beautiful looking animal and a very nice rack. Especially when you consider 5 point one side and sometimes whitetails with more points don't score that high as this one. Congrats nice animal. Not too many members would have passed that one up.Be proud to hang that one on your wall reguardless.

Boone and Crockett min for a typical whitetail is 160.149 typical whitetail on a 4 point whitetail is awsome. If that is what it is.Considering it's a 4 point a score anywhere in the High 130's and higher is good to unbelievablly great.

I'd love to say i have a number of big 8's to tell you you're off on your scoring but unfortunately I have to say I don't. I have however had my hands on enough big 8's last couple years to tell you that it is defintley not a 149 8 point. A 140 and 150 inch 8 pointer killed by a family member in 2008 and 2009 would put that into perspective. To get a 150 inch 8 point you need everything. Mass, length, height and width. It is a dandy buck for sure! Defintley not 149 but who cares. Congrats!

Great Buck, Congrats!!! I would guess it would score in the mid 130's.
