Ohio 11 pointer, just got home.
 

Finally got last years buck back from the taxidermist, and up on the wall. I shot him 11-21-09 @ 5pm at East Fork State Park just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. Haven't got him scored yet... so what do you think he will score? He has a 3.5 inch kicker right above his left eye that you may not see in the pictures.

I like the state plaque you've got there. I have a goal to kill trophy deer in as many states as possible mounted on a state specific plaque. I think that would be a cool collection. So far I've only hunted MO and IL. I haven't had any luck putting a good one on the ground in IL yet but have a few good ones in MO. Just hunting MO this year but I hope to hunt KS and IL next year. I hope to eventually get up to IA, WI and OH. After that hopefully NE, KY and IN.

Anyway, your mount looks good.

Yeah my goal is to do state plaques with the bucks I mount. I want one from each of the surrounding states of Ohio. I too think that would be pretty cool as well! I bought the wood at home depot and my wife drew the outline of the state on it for me then had a family friend cut it out. Stained it and then waited for his return to put him on it.
