I have a 100-yard range in a field and would like to make a bullet trap to go behind my target. I'm shooting .270 Winchester. Any advice for making a trap?

Why don't you just dig a burm to shoot into.

Dig a hole and pile up the dirt in front of the hole about 4 feet tall.

I built a railroad tie wall double thick, 6 feet tall, then piled dirt up 8 feet deep behind it into a slope to the top. Stops 338 Lapua without a question.
