Ya know, I'd be happier if they let hunters in with a lottery system, than to just send in sharpshooters to annihilate 500 of them. I can't see any of us, who love this great sport, go out and start picking off deer as if they were buffalo in the 1800's. This is where the "ethics" end of things come into play.

Animal rights groups say the deer population should be controlled by natural means. so that means the natural hunter, man, should be allowed to control the deer popultaion.
Like I said before let HSUS and PETA have at it for 60 days and put it on film. then post their results and efforts all over the internet. Should be hilarious.

When they trap the deer and bring them to the Poconos, they should bring some of the mountain lions down from the Poconos to release in the park.
Huh? They hunt in packs where I hunt. They're already packed up and have been since the first weekend in October.
In the winter, they have no problem running down a deer and killing it. Besides, they eat fawns - which sucks.
Too bad a coyote isn't big enough to taked down a fully grown deer. Too bad they don't hunt in packs.
