What do you think he scores/weighs?
Little!....."if it's brown its down"
120" maybe, looks like he has a lot of potential thou, give him a year or two.
Problem is. Its Maine. Ill be lucky to even see it.
I agree this guy has some potential. I would let him be for at least one year and them stick an arrow in him. I have a fork horn right by my tree stand i would love end before the rut got going good, take him out of the gene pool.
I just looked a little closer at him maybe you should take him but if you do please wait till a couple of days after rut that way he will have a little more mass, hopefully. Nice genetics he just needs more mass.
115", maybe....doesn't look real heavy, maybe 190 or so...

I thought He looked fairly fat just judging by the fat rolls on his neck! I have a really funny looking four that Ill put up tomorrow..
Very young deer with potential. 120-140" somewhere. Wouldn't dress out over 100 lbs. I don't think. Let him grow up!!
WOULD DRESS OVER 100?!?! I had a guide look at it today that was sure he would dress over 200!
I was thinking he would dress out around 150lbs. Maybe 180-190 on the hoof. 100lbs is way low.
I think he's pretty nice. I would take him now. If you're hunting the big woods, you can't let him go and find him again next year. It's not like you're sitting in a shooting house watching a bait pile. If you see a nice buck, shoot him while you have the chance. |
Thats the thing. Its big woods. I dont hunt around feeders. If I see him theres a pretty good chance it will only be once..
