Never have but I should because Im never watching the trail. Im looking for white flags in the woods going to opposite direction.

I am guilty of not wearing one hunting.

i come from a family of riders and my father and i both have had close calls everyone should wear one regardless of what they are doing. i wouldnt be alive today if i wasnt wearing mine in a 4-wheeler accident. i got tossed 8ft in the air for 28 feet of distance and landed on my head and shoulder the impact knocked my helmet 30 yards away and i broke my collar bone had internal bleeding and got to spend 3 days in the hospital they told me if i wasnt wearing my helmet my kids would have been fatherless. if you want to be able to go home to your family wear one!

I think it is important that more people look at the stories on this thread about what happens if you choose not to wear a helmet when riding. Remember it only takes a second to dramatically change your life forever.

I put mine on even if I am just loading the ATV/Snowmobile on the truck/trailer.

As a former Moto-X racer I wear a helmet every time I get on my 4 wheeler, dirt bike, or my snowmobile. Accidents happen, and slow speed ones are the ones you are not prepared for. My worst accidents have been when I am going slow. Like when I was checking my game cams this past spring on my dirt bike and I hit a mud puddle that was frozen, can you say face plant! Thanks to my Moto-X style helmet I only had a sore shoulder.
