hello fellow hunters

this is my first deer ever taken. i toke it last year in NY if i remember that day very clearly. i would like your opinions on this deer and my shot was a 125 yard shot with a 25-06 plz post your opinions:)

Good job man hope the luck continues this year also. I remember my first deer like it was yesterday. Treasure that memory and continue to support the sport. This year try to put the hammer down on a monster. BB

I think it is a great deer and trophy. You will always remember that deer no matter how many big bucks you kill in the future. Nice shot too. Congratulations.

Nice deer for sure, never let anyone tell you different. I know plenty of people who would be happy with a skipper after hunting pretty much their whole lives without a single deer, some as many as 30 years. Today there is too much emphasis on the rack. If you talk to real old timers they talked about the weight of the deer.
