Biggest whitetail in the world?

Some have said "Primetime" to be the biggest buck in the world.

Biggest whitetail or biggest antlers? I don't think hormone fed, farm raised whitetails are relevant.

agreed. He's in a freaking high fenced pen. That doesn't count!:throw:

Daveboone 09-02-2010 05:21 PM

A freak...ugly freak. Like Raquel Welch with 88DDDs.

dm66 09-02-2010 05:25 PM

It's impressive but not real world (pen deer) who would get satisfaction out of going to his pen and shooting him he's probably tame more pet than wild animal.

Colorado Luckydog 09-02-2010 05:29 PM

I'd shoot him. I'd eat him. Hell, I'd even hang him on the wall. I wouldn't pay one penny to do it and I sure wouldn't brag about it.

lodiss 09-02-2010 06:01 PM

It's cool.....no question. But don't tell me anyone is really impressed.

I live in Nebraska. Last year a guy shot a WILD deer almost 300 inches. Now that is impressive.

salukipv1 09-02-2010 06:03 PM

So Stupid.

I'd love to have a monster buck or two on the wall, but shooting a monster in a zoo/pen/cage, would totally ruin it.

Farming wildlife should be illegal.

I watched an elk show today that made me sick, they were hunting what looked like whitetail farm, but it was all elk eating alfalfa. they said there were mtns around the farm, it looked like "shooting" to me, certainly not "hunting"

I've heard of 500" elk from farms...pay for that? psssh for what? probably be cheaper to feed him in a pen for 10years then shoot him.

Talk about dumb/stupid.

I should start my own hunting show, call it "real hunting" or something, to each their own I suppose, I'm kinda sick of high production show types hunting...

tight360 09-02-2010 08:48 PM

count, don't count, don't care

I was researching plot material for a fall plant for this year, and was directed to this site for Bio-logic. By the way, they are pets, with their own vets. Poster children for Bio-Logic and that Farm, they don't "hunt them"". Just seen them and thought I would share.

Hi All,

Yes ....Goliath's velvet rack, many experts say he would easily beat the world record of 333 7/8 Boone and Crockett points.

he'd eat just like the rest of em!

YooperMike 09-03-2010 04:57 AM

Wow, unbelievable. Show's the potential of what a whitetail can become under perfect or enhanced conditions. In states that allow feeding, a deer of this caliber could be a possibility. Yes, it's in a pen, but still pretty amazing.

vicrzr 09-03-2010 05:06 AM

is he gonna be able to lift his head up in a few years? looks more like a freak of nature to me

sunjbr 09-03-2010 07:31 AM

He'd probably eat a little better. Pen kept livestock have more tender meat. :happy0001:

Is there a pic of this buck ? I would love to see it .

eerdog 09-04-2010 07:00 PM

Well managed properties are different than zoo/farms. But if you rate a successful hunt in the killing you aren't a hunter. I wouldn't give $500 to hunt a farm much less the $3K to $10K+ these ranches charge. We have one near us that isn't much of a set up with seperate pens for each type animal they offer to hunt. I wish someone could realistically tell me why anyone would pay $6000 to kill a 180 class deer! Get on EBay and buy which rack you want for a few hundred if that is important. Means the same, neither has absolutely any hunter credit.

tight360 09-04-2010 07:25 PM

I'm sorry but...

It would seem that I had broken rule #7 with my original post of the buck, and for that I am truly sorry. I wasn't trying to advertise anything, just giving reason for the post. Again my apologies.

I've seen videos of " hunts" on those high fence ranches down south. What a joke. They look like dogs that someone glued a moose rack on. I saw one where the guy shot and missed three times from his heated blind before the deer even moved. Those idiots wouldn't get within a mile of an Iowa whitetail!
