All this talk of giving a deer another year amazes me. I hunt public land or smallish (couple hundred acres) of private land and there is no way if I give a deer a couple more years that I would ever see him again. I envy you guys that can see the same deer several years in a row. If I give one a pass, the next hunter would shoot him.
Like sprintflyer, I hunt in SW Virginia and that deer would be on my wall if I shot him. :) |

It would be helpful if we knew where this buck lives.
Down here in Florida that buck would be on the wall with out a second thought. |
I would say somewhere in the 120's, and I dont care whdere he is at, I am letting the air out of him.

nice deer? in vermont im gonna kill him dead,,,i dont care what he scores or what hes gonna look like in a couple of years thats for tv guys...and i dont care where i see him niether im gonna smoke a deer like that ,,,,let him walk,,,tv overload.....i think i know why wifes get ticked over thier men spending money on hunting gear...shes hungry with all the tv hunters out there...my wife is plump and happy,,,lol

Here is my 125" gross 8pt. that 8pt has mine by a few inches at least. I put him in the low 130's.

if i seen that walkin out on the green field i wouldnt think twice about puttin a 30-06 in him :)
