i'm shooting paper plates at 60 yards consistantly with my bow, and i've been more involved with the process of preseason instead of my dad doing all of the work.

Just practicing at the range. I've noticed that I have come too accustomed to shooting off the bench so I am working on my off hand shooting.

I'd like to think I'm 1 year mentally tougher / more experienced.

Working on getting in better shape prior to the hunt... seems I've yet to be able to get in peak condition prior to a hunt, never enough hours in a day right?

Added another food plot and stand location.

Now the only wind I can't hunt on my home property is a direct south wind, which I will never be able to hunt at this farm unless I get permission from my neighbor to the north.

Better scouting of the land I can hunt and better overall preparation.

Last year, I received permission to hunt on good private land just a few days before the season, and the area was about an hour away from where I lived. It didn't allow time to properly scout it. Now, I have a much better understainding of the land and deer in the area. I still bagged a decent 8 point though.
