Meat hunter, but I think of myself as a ethical hunter. If its a doe w/baby/ies Ill let her walk. If its a buck it has to be at least outside its ears. Those are just my personal rules and our lease rules. Ive got wallhangers so I try to do better than those I have on the wall but thats alot easier said than done. I let alot of bucks walk last yr, a 6, and couple of 4s, small basket racked bucks. Unfortunately though, I have no control over what the guy on the next stand does.

I'm a hunter....No need to explain anything else.

I'm a little of both, I hope to shot 3 does for the meat. Mean while I will only shoot bucks that are 4 to 51/2 years old. Come the last week of the season if I still have a doe tag I will take another doe.

Trophy. Strictly.

I have plenty of meat in the freezer thanks to the feral hogs in my area.

I used to shoot small bucks. Then I realized the potential they would have if I would just let them walk. Now I see big bucks every year and usually put one or two 130" bucks or better in the freezer and on the wall every year. I couldn't be happier.

I do participate in a couple of draw hunts locally that are for population control. Now there I go by "brown it's down" rule.

State law requires 3 points on one side here. Once I count that third point, he's in trouble. I only take trophy does, though.
