Smile Won a deer hunt in Kentucky!

This past Saturday was a great day for me ! Put a ticket in for a hunt in Kentucky and found out that I won on Tuesday! The hunt is with Kentucky Heritage Outfitters and I will be hunting the late season. I have planned on going December the 14 , 15 , 16 , 17 , and the 18th ... I feel deer will be on the food source and maybe see some late rut sction ????
Also picked up my first videos by White Knuckle Productions at the show also !! Wow are they great !!!! Lots of great hunting action!! I really enjoyed watching them and can't wait to pick a couple more!!

Congrats. Might be bit late for rut action.

The outfitter is located in CLinton Co. Can you give me any info on the area ?
I know the rut will be over , and the deer will be focused on a food source . But you never know when that one doe still has not been bred and may walk right past your stand!! LOL ... I live in SC and I have seen plenty of rut activity in December down here . Two years ago I killed a 125 class 8 point following a doe with 3 other bucks....

Sorry but I'm not familiar with that area. It is possiable to see secondary rut activity at that time however. Ive seen it in January also. I would still count on the food sources for a more sure thing. Let us know how it goes.
