Welcome to the board. Hate to say it, but the stand doesn' t look very comfortable. For that price you should be able to have more comfort.

Couple in my hunting crew have Buckshot treestands. These guys are 300 plus pounds big and they say they are very comfortable. I have used the Hotshot for bowhunting and it was comfortable, quiet too.

Well I' m a big guy (about 285lbs) and not to fond of heights (bad combo for hunting), so I' ll stick to my ladder stands. Just feel more secure and safe that way.

Piece of mind goes along way when hunting.

I' ll have to agree with DL2. I' ve been hunting out of a Buckshot stand for 8 years now. I' m 6' 3" but only around 170lbs after a BIG dinner but the Bigshot is very comfortable. Check out the Bigshot Mag. Same as the Bigshot I' ve got only bigger. I remove the back rest during bow season and hunt with my back to the tree. Put it back on during rifle season and face the tree. The back rest is adjustable and I' ve been known to take a few naps at 30 to 50 feet off the ground. Here' s a link to their website: http://www.buckshot-stands.com/
