SJADVENTURES-First when i showed my son the ropes about deer hunting scrapes rubs trails that lead to bedding and trails that lead to feeding areas i then told him he should find his own spot that way he'll learn more about it if it's a good spot or bad and no i didn't help him put up his ladder stand and he was 14 then and if my wife wants to hunt i would do the same .Thats like me taking her fishing and stand there taking her fish off the hook for her if she can't take her own fish off she doesn't need to be out there . I take it your one of those guys that take someone hunting do all the work then wake them up to go hunting right .

And I forgot to say .I told my son the reason why he should look for 3 or more trails coming together so he understood why that would be a good spot to put up a stand there during thr pre-rut and rut ,And by the way he took his 1st doe from the spot he put his ladderstand at . T he reason he got a deer his first year was he understood how to hunt them .Not just told to climb up a tree and pull a trigger on a gun .So many people at work take there kids out hunting put them in a tree that they put up for them stop hunting after a few season cause they thought there's nothing to it so they got bored with it .And then they shake there heading woundering why they gave up on hunting ,I told them they just got tired of going out and killing something they have no ideal how to hunt just know how to kill something .

I don't dislike Lee and Tiffany that much. But her popularity has touched off a flood of other hunting shows scrambling to try and find female hunters that they think are hot. And sadly many of them are terrible shots and way more annoying than Tiffany. Some look like they have never had a gun or bow in their hands until the week before the show. Because they probably hadn't. When I watch a hunting show I'd like to see people who seem to know what they are doing. If that happens to be a woman then fine but no amount of hotness makes me feel any better about watching these woman gut shoot and inflict double ham shots on animals.

Bottom line. If I wanna see hot chicks I'll watch a late night flick on Cinemax or buy a Playboy magazine. Keep hunting shows about hunting.

"Huntress Gone Wild" coming soon. Probably hog hunts or early season deer hunts in the South due to frostbite concerns. :party0007:

Why should I continue to have a conversation with someone who doesn't have the sense to understand the basics of what is being discussed. I think I'll let you continue with your name calling and your whining, that you refer to as a "debate", all by yourself. Have a nice day genius.

I wish theyd do that RR, like the fishing show where you can challenge the guy to your home lake. Dont remember which fisherman it is but itd be great to see a hunting show like that.

If it was my wife you bet I would and yes I did when my son was growing up and learning to hunt. My son was always involved in picking his spot to hunt and in setting up his tree stand but so was I. When he was young I hung his stands because I wanted to make sure that when I came to get him I didn't find him hanging from his harness. Not only that I used to stand in the dark under his stand until he was settled and strapped in. I was there in case he dropped a glove or anything else that I could retrieve for him so he wouldn't have to climb back down out of his stand and then back up. I made sure that his beginning experiences did not turn into an excercises of frustration for a little boy and to help him avoid all the mistakes I had already made in the past. And I do take the fish off of my wife's hook:s4: and I did always wake up my son when we went hunting. He is grown now and very self proficient and an extremely good hunter bow or gun.

My pop was a lot harder on me. Its different with boys and spouses. No matter what you say the way you teach someone is more or less the way you learned it. I didnt notice at first but this DOES NOT WORK with your SPOUSE. Teaching Mrs Podunk to shoot and hunt has made me realize that Im as much of a hardazz as my dad was. Ive had to change alot of my ways to keep her interested and avoid us fighting.
