Does anyone actually take those type of hunting shows seriously? Yes Tiffany is hot, yes almost all men on those shows including waddell and his buddies are goons. The only hunting television celebrity I think has any sense is Tom Miranda. Though you dont see him all the time Im also a big Larry Weishuhn fan. Those other dingleberries wouldnt last a day without the high priced guides that do the real work.

Lets not forget about the great Ben Lee. He was a pioneer of the industry as well. I loved watching any of his shows. If Im not mistaken he played a big part in getting Tinks started.

TV hunting shows are for entertainment. I used to watch Tiff all the time. Now, put Megn Fox or a couple of the Divas off WWF in a treestand and maybe I'll start watching again. If not, I invite them to hunt on my land and see how their success is. They only show success and not everything it takes to reach success. Lets see the hours of "I didn't see a deer today" Then it may be more real life.

Here we go again....lol. IMO anyone that is in a position like Waddells based on no particular talent of his own ( oh sorry he won a turkey calling championship) is useless. They portray a style of hunting that most hunters will never be able to afford and causes young hunters to be down on there own hunting options. Dont even get me started about what theyve done to make hunters obssessive about the "score" of a game animal....

Arrowmaster, I have some friends that knew Ben Rogers Lee personally, lived in the same small town, and they didn't have a lot of good things to say about him.

Just goes to show ya. What i've said all along... What they do is not hunting... A 10 year old can do what they do...
When they go elk hunting, there is even a green field involved lol
What a joke...
And all the green field hunters think there god...

I was just cruising through and saw your bottom line. I am from Pa. and public land did not make a turkey hunter out of me. Something got to them in my area and now there are less turkey than deer on the public lands I hunt, which is hard to believe.
Anyway I agree, those guys on T.V. couldn't find their butt in the dark if they used both hands. There is a lot of people that don't hunt but think hunting is O.K., until they see those T.V. shows. The so called "hunting" they do on T.V. has caused more damage than good from a public image view.
