I like Kybuckhunter's reply the best. There's lots of good info there.(hint hint) Besides, what's the value of making such comments anyway?
iSnipe The only reason I posted this is to gauge whether or not I was being objective about it. I intended to send these shows some feedback from me, but wanted to see if I had any sympathizers first. Looks like I have a few. I think my comments were fair and cordial.

I totally agree, Tiffany drives me NUTS! The whole blonde airhead stereotype is applying to her....but that doesnt mean she has to act like it on TV. She makes us women hunters look stupid lol

But I have to say it. I'm starting to get sick of Tiffany Lakosky.
I know that there are some here that think she is all that and a bag of chips. But I've come to the point that I have now deleted all of her and Lee's shows from recording to my DVR. After watching the last two episodes of "Gettin' Close" and "The Crush", it has become plainly evident that the producers of those shows are only interested in portraying her as the trophy, and not the awesome deer they both harvest. Each show consisted of more than 15 minutes of the camera following her around acting like a 16 year old high school air head. And only 5 minutes of real, honest to goodness, in the field, hunting footage. I'm not saying she's ugly. I'm just more interested in the deer. But not at the price of having to listen to her babble. I respect both of them as hunters and admire their trophy management principals. I'm just frustrated with the direction the producers have decided to take the shows she participates in. I wondered if anyone agrees with me? And that's why I post this here. On a similar note....You think Lee minds all those viewers "oogling" over her? Or does that TV paycheck offset any jealousy/protectiveness? Ok, I've said it. Sorry if I offend anyone. I like hunting shows that explain things, so you can understand how things really work in the field. Like Roger Raglin, Deer and Deer hunting, etc, etc, etc. If I want to see Blond Air Heads, I will watch ESPN, or some lame channel with the same ole lame Blond shows. JMHO |

why be mad at nice lady for hunting?
I think that there are few other shows that feature hunting couples that do a much better job. "Archer's Choice" for instance. |
I pretty much hate all hunting shows including hers. However, I love Tiffany and I'm 100% prepared to step and fill Lee's shoes should anything happen to him. I would just have to check with my ol' lady first.:happy0001:
Really though, If thats what helps them be successful, more power to the both of them. I'm just not going to watch it myself. |
Personally i think all of the so called video hunters fer pay are just that paychecks, money talks BS walks! I don't watch any of them.

If the show was about a couple guys hunting public land in Alabama and they killed few little scrub bucks then would people watch it? The answer is not many. There have been shows that tried the DIY and public land concept and they just don't stand up.....People want big bucks and want action. Much like guys want to go to a Hooters with really hot women rather than fat ugly women working there. Its all about entertainment and wishful thinking.... I remember the days when there were almost no hunting shows on TV. I'd rather not go back to those days....plus alot of young people have the chance to see hunting and get interested in the sport. So....like I said if you don't like them don't watch. Simple. |
but guys......

I wouldn't believe that the Eastman shows are all on public land. I hunted WY a few years back and the guide that was taking me out pointed to some of the land that teh Eastmans and the Primos team hunted. Oh yeah, you could get on this land to hunt - for about $6000 and shoot a nice 6x6 bull.
