So we were blessed enough to draw non resident tags for Kansas this year. First time for us to hunt big game out side our home state. We're hunting a friend's property with lots of nice deer. Unit 15 area.


Now we're in the final planning stages: whe, n to go, ground blinds/tree stands. Any suggestions, recommendations, free advice...

For archery, I would definitely plan your time around the second to third week of November. I know a lot of guys will say hunt around the 7th, but IMO in that part of Kansas things don't really heat up until about the 10th to the 14th. I've hunted up there for a few years during that time and have seen some exceptional deer during daylight hours.
