Questions on Trail Camera Obervations
 

I have set up a couple of trail cameras over the last month. Here are a few obervations I have made so far since it is my first time doing so:

- Put out salt lick and sweetened corn/oat feed. Took deer about a month to start using it. Now they are finally hitting it hard.
- In areas that I put deer-specific mineral attractants they haven't noticed it after 3 weeks.
- The bucks are coming out just behind the does on the trails and both are licking the same branches above.

Does this seem like normal behaviour for this time of year?

In the area where You put out the mineral for the Deer throw out a little grain or corn on top of it so they can find the minerals...it may help or not but thats what we do when we start a new mineral lick so the Deer find it!

Sounds like Your Deer are pretty normal and do the usual Deer actions! ;)

I was going to post the exact same thing. Either sprinkle some corn on top of the mineral site or mix it into the dirt with the minerals.
