doetrain I live and hunt here in Cincinnati Ohio and our season starts September 25th. this time of year it can be hot still, but the the hunting can be good. Concentrate on food and or bedding areas, cause thats all that the deer are focused on at that point. Secondly, dress with less. try not to work up a sweat getting to and from your stand. thirdly, before you put down the money for an out of state Lic, make sure that you have a place to hunt and scout it out prior to season. Hope this helps. Also, make sure that if you go and get one, that you are able to get the deer gutted and cooled off ASAP to prevent the meat from spoiling in the heat.
