someday, you might lose your free hunting area, then come back here and tell us how ya found twice the land fer 1/2 the price.
ya just gonna quit hunting?
i thought about paying an outfitter to take me and my daughter up to canada to whack a couple monsters...then i thought...10k!!!!!wow airfare/passports/lodginh/fees/tips ..all dds up.. for 10k i can get a lease big enough and for long enough period to let em grow to be big texas bucks. not to mention spend time in the woods for years....not just a weekend

i was asking, if you lose your free hunting area, are ya just gonna quit hunting?

Halfbaked. The only way I'd stop hunting is when I get too old and it isn't enjoyable any longer.

R U trying to bring politics into this subject?;)

Now that's a good question. I honestly don't know what I'd do. I really don't forsee this happening, do you? I never have had to pay in almost 50 years of hunting and I really never put much effort finding land to hunt. I'm a lucky son of a gun.
