Illinois buck pics
Just wanted to post some nice bucks taken from Carroll County, IL over the last 2 years. This is a real sleeper county for deer hunting but has some terrific genetics and nutrition.
I scored a nice 9pt after a small 2 man push
big 10 taken after a farmer 1/2 mile away started cutting the corn
my big 12 caught chasing a doe from the corn at 10am. scored 156 1.2
going to the check station in pearl city.

The few times I' ve been to Illinois I' ve seen some really big deer. Naturally it was in the off season.Hopefully one year I' ll be able to hunt with my buddy who lives there. I saw one and said that was a Big Buck. He laughed and said just wait.Then we saw one that made the first one look like a FL. Key Deer.

Nope Redhawk, I think you' re mistaken. Droptine was right, there are no big deer in Illinois. All the big deer relocated to the northeast when hunting presure got high. If you want big deer you' re gonna have to go to the New England states.
