I seen the short sided buck this fall once and he looked fine he was chasing a doe but I dont know whats wrong with his antler and the other one seems like a spike on one side I dont know whats wrong these too I dont know if its genetics and if so I really dont like to kill younger bucks but if I have too I will what do you guys think I'm pretty sure there both yearling bucks

Nothing looks wrong with him to me. He's just a young buck. In a few years he might just turn out to be a big ole non typical.

Looks fine to me as well. Just a younger buck. A lot of bucks won't have exact matching antlers the first year. Give them a few years and then you'll be able to see if they have any problems with them but look like normal young bucks to me.

I would watch them this up-coming year and see how they progress, like Bigbulls mentioned the Bucks are still young and may turn out to be some really nice Monsters in the years to come?I have a video of a young buck walking up to a Doe and she kicked him right in the head with her hoofs, had a picture later on with one side of his spike busted off so its possible that the first Buck You have pictured could have a similar injury or experience interacting with other Does or sparing with another Buck!

in my experiences with young bucks and their potiental first racks is they are still kinda clumsy and its very common at least in my area that young bucks will bump their antlers while in velvet which cases deformaties<----is that a word?

Just typical yearling antlers. If the first one shows up next year with a similar deformed rack and you have a heavy deer population, I would consider taking him out.

He ain't dead...

Looks like he'll be a nice cool looking one in a few years!!!

Liek said before, he is just a youngin let him grow. I also really wouldnt worry about genetics unless you own or hunt a high fenced ranch or somethin:s4:
