Its really hard to say for sure. The most accurate way
is to check the wear on the teeth. But if i had to guess
probly between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 years old. That deer does look like he has very very good features. The base of his antlers have alot of mass. Let him get to a ripe age and you will probly have a nice wall hanger. good luck

Judging from the size of the base's he is older than 1 1/2. I have never seen a 1 1/2 year old buck with base's that big, not even from Canada. The depth of his chest would help a little and he seems to have a pretty long nose, to long for a yearling. I would say a 3 1/2 with rack size issue's. He will more than likely have a small rack with a lot of mass the rest of his life, but I would still eat him, lol

Delicate facial features and a wall in my garage full of similar racks from my younger days makes me think this is a 1.5 year old.

id have to say just by looking at the face, 1 1/2 or so a body shot would be easier to tell. but like gyro said the teeth are the closest way to tell but even then it isnt exact

I'd Guess 2.5 years old because of the bases and because of the narrow width - not too much potential if a high score is your goal.

Even if only 1.5 years old - He's never going to have a wide rack.

I showed this to my taxidermist friend and he said pretty much what I said earlier. The face looks like a young deer because of the extremly short hair due to location and time of year. But the length of the nose and the size of the pedicles say that he is an older buck probably on his way down.
