the one that weighed more. niether is going to be a trophy unless u have never killed a deer / buck, or if u have only killed a handfull, and they were smaller. so why not, IF you do decide you need to take one, shoot the larger bodied buck.

I would kill the spike, although a spike could have the chance of becoming bigger then the fork horn--i guess that would be my choice

The first one that presented an easy neck shot. The biggest one.

Whatever deer presented the best opportunity for a clean, fast kill.

The one that was standing still and gave be the best shot when I got my gun up. There is no telling which will be the better deer in 4 years so take either one.

i think i would have to go with the spike simply because we are trying to practice the whole deer managment thing so the fork would seem to have better genetics so i would shoot the spike IMO

With deer management in mind the spike. Just thinking the fork horn had better genes to make those antlers, granting they are siblings. My 2 cents. If one was smaller the smaller one, assuming the bigger one will have better genes regarding size.
Now if it was just a matter of shooting in public land. I will shot the one that gives me the best shot.

I would shoot both or whichever presented me with the first good shot.

Shoot the spike. Fork horn has better gentics to pass along assuming they are the same age.
