Yeah other bucks will be around if you bag him. And here's a little secret. Don't say anything to anyone else - alright?
There are already other bucks around. This one may be the ruler of the roost, maybe not. He might rule the roost today and get his tail kicked tomorrow. But all that "roost ruling" as you call it only goes on around rut time. The rest of the time the boys hang out together just fine.
