Did anyone else only click on this thread because of "gies" lol? To answer I'd have to say 2.5 as well. Nice buck you got there!

Nice Deer, check the teeth, not hard to age him, Doc

I would also guess 2.5, how old was he?

old enough to no better

the best i can tell 2.5,it is possible for a deer to be only 1-2-3-4-5 years of age during hunting season, there is always the oddball deer that is born early or late,i read stories every year of fawns with spots on them in nov, somebody shot a doe during archery season this past season & it had a pretty good size fawn in it,it may happen a lot more than a any of us know.i see a lot of different deer sizes sometimes & it makes you wonder just how much difference is there in their age,mike300wm

I would say 2.5

In Ohio that a 2 or 2 1/2 year old deer. In Georgia where I hunt that's a 3 or 3 1/2 year old deer.
