1 Attachment(s)
Sorry for such a small picture...however,, these are a pair of sheds that my cousin found while we were shed hunting about 2 weeks ago now...so for all the "are they droppinem' yet?'' I would say that it is safe to say that some indeed are...what are the thoughts as to what he might score..i know its tough with no spread...give it your best guess please

thanks

140 - 150 i guess

nice...minimum of 160

Easily 150 without an inside spread and no deductions id give them 165 on the hoof.Congratulations great find.

Evenly matched 12 point, I would guess easily 165.

Nice find!

FWIW, I saw six bucks last night. Everyone of them still had a complete set of head gear. But with as much sparing as they were doing, if they are close to dropping them that should take care of it. East Central Indiana.

You have the sheds. Why don't you measure them?

+1 for the suggestion. Give him 16 inches for inside spread as that is a typical average. That will give you a bottom end score. Any guesses that the spread is wider (probably was) will only increase the bottom scorre.

Your holding something special.... I can tell you that much. I would say 160"-170" based on what kind of spread he had.

they are not in my possession or else i would put the tape to them..he has them as of now,, therefore i cant measure them  i will let the thread know as soon as i do

I would say the deers left side will score 80" alone.

Ditto. Or close to it.:happy0001:

turkeyslayer15 01-28-2010 08:00 PM

looks like 150s to me

farm hunter 01-28-2010 08:37 PM

150 gross - 140s net

I don't see a tine over 10" or a mass measurement over 5". I don't think you get over 150 net unless the beams are 30".

Nice buck - one any one of us would be proud to take.
Imagine how he could score next year?

2.5

69.25

69.25 x 2 = 138.5 + 17 for spread = 155.5

This is fairly conservative on lengths and spread and the left side apears to be bigger than the right side I measured by guessing so my guess would be closer to the net score so Id say gross 160ish but the pics may be deceving. WCL

wi_buckstomper 01-28-2010 08:42 PM

160 i would say

WIbuckchaser 01-30-2010 06:39 PM

I'd guess 150 or so.
