Can I make a suggestion for Scoring thread?

We constantly get these threads. I like them as it allows me to practice scoring. But can I suggest that those that reply to the threads go just a little farther then just giving a score? Can we take 5 minutes and give the measurments?? I know I don't always give the measurements but I try to, especially if the score I come upi with is vastly different then other scores. Giving estimated tine length, mass and MB lengths suports your score and gives rookies a tool to know what an 8in tine inches looks like or what a 19" spread is. Giving these mesurements will add to the discussion of what any particular deer scores. It would also be nice if the OP that have a harvested deer will actually post the score in question so that the "guessing members" can see how close they actually are.

Try and make this a New Years resolution for HNI.

I second this idea. as its own forum.

I don't think we need another forum, there are too many of them already. Most of the time nobody ever gives the measured score, just "guess what he scores."

Well I can see this was well received. I pull my suggestion that we at least take the time to show how we come up with our scores/guesses. I will continue the dull

"I guess about"

answers.
