I guess when you have hunted most of your live the thrill of spotting deer never fades ..no 2 deer will react the same way ,some are very shy while others can be aproched very easy.winter is the best time to renew your tracking skills ,search for new territories ..pic below is of my grand daughter and grandson with a fawn ...surprizes do happen even after hunting season .. thought i'd share with you ..

yea i herd something like that but i think thats cause of car accidents although I have seen video's of deer doing alot of damage when someone did exactly whats going on in the picture...playing with a wild animal...(if its wild I still dont know)?

it's wild and don't worry about it's safety ,at least 50 miles from the nearest road ..were i live wolves will get it before a collision with a vehicle. we get a lot of snow and in the winter deer herd up near residents for food and to get away from the predators ,come spring they will all be gone and in the fall when we start to hunt they disappear.
