How Depressing
 

Having never been on this web site before... I find myself searching for things to do now that Hunting season is winding down. It always amazes me, no matter how long a season can seam to be, no matter how successful or unsuccessful you may be for that matter... you never want it to end. Please let the snow dissapear soon so the food plots can start being put in the ground and counting down the days until Oct 1st will be here again. The obsession continues!

On a positive note... Leaving for the last hunt of the year... chasing piggies in TX. One more excuse to extend the season! :violin:

Squirrel till have way through Feb, and Rabbits till end of Jan.
Theres allways Turkey season, then Bass Fishing.
And Coyote hunting any time.

I hate when deer season ends too. But after our season is over, it only leaves 2 1/2 months until trout (native/wild) season opens!:party::party:

Cant wait till I can get to go out and hear those bird's going on or coming down from the roost...makes my heart pound brain swell and eyes pop every time!

i dont like it either....but i have plenty of fun in the off season

I'm the same way at times. Also at times, I'm tired and want a break. LOL! It's good to have other outdoor hobbies to keep one busy. There are several other game to pursue as well as sports to keep you occupied and broke. LOL! Those toys do cost money and keeps one working so they can buy more toys!

End of hunting season is the start of fishin season!

Eh, I'm not a big fisherman, my brother is. I don't like seafood and while my catch never goes to waste, I don't have that connection with the fish like I do deer or wild hogs. I enjoy going with my brother, partly because he's really good at it, but also for the hanging out and stuff. And he'll take home whatever I catch and cook it.

i pick up my camera and hit the bush were i deer hunt and sometimes get lucky and shoot the deer with my camera ...
