Suffering From Post Hunting Season Depression
 

Anyone else get really depressed when deer hunting season is over? I always get depressed when deer season is over and I have to wait 10 months before the next deer bowhunting season begins and 11 months before the next deer shotgun season begins. My wife will see me mope around and say "Oh knock it off, it will be here before you know it!" I think I need to find another hobby.

Same here! Don't forget theres always spring and summer scouting!
Since this was not a banner year, just think they will all be a year older and bigger next season!

BH1 I get a little depressed after the season,but I soon start to ice fish.
This year with the warm weather I wiil have to wait a little longer.In the spring it is turkey hunting.In the summer I go out in lake Erie, with my brother, and we fish for walleye's.Yes I would try and find a hobby it will take your mind off of deer hunting for awhile anyway.

Whats really depressing is that we only have a five week season to hunt and get one deer then listening to people that hunt for months and get a whole herd of deer .I guess it really isn't depression ,more like envy . Actualy I think its great ,just wish we had something like that .

I get a little depressed too, but I go out and shoot my bow any chance I can get. Fishing, bowfishing, and turkey season are right around the corner.

well i have until next friday... hey jersey joe. why is it 3 weeks? doesnt nj season end at the end of the month?? anyways there is always spring turkey to look forward to after the season if any of you guys do that

I know exactly how you feel......that is why I shoot alot of 3D in the offseason and started Spring Turkey hunting...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
