As for an antlered doe....it happens now and then. There was a story several years ago about one near here that had a big, 17 pt(?) rack. I believe it ran in the TPW handbook...I wish I could remember.
I do recall that someone had watched her over a couple of years. She never shed so they kept growing and it was pretty gnarly looking. Someone eventually shot her and a game warden checked it out and certified that it was indeed a doe.
Reminds me of that story about the South African track star a while back...
