2 nice bucks
 

got these in a email from my friend--i'm sure someone will correct me if the info is incorrect:biggrin:
Both bucks killed on the Jicarilla reservation. The smaller of the two bucks was killed by a tribal member and scored 215 6/8 in October.

The larger of the two was killed by an auction hunter on Friday 11/27/09. The guide was Larry Panzy who is the father of Larson Panzy who is pictured with the buck. Larson makes the "Bucks of the Jicarilla" videos. This buck scored 239!

If those are nice bucks then I wonder what big bucks look like. lol, congrats to the hunters.

I'm not a good guesser of racks after they leave the basic 8 point size, but I would have guessed a lot higher than 239 on that second one. Dang that is a big rack, Dolly Pardon ain't got nothing on that one.......
Just curious, what is an auction hunter?

I have never mule deer hunted, but I have to agree with the other two fellers. Those bucks are way passed nice.

i guess its a tag that goes to the highest bidder for a hunt on the reservation--just my guess

Whoa! I need to hunt with a Native American, they can hunt!!!
