Take a kid hunting! I did!

Just like ever year I make time to get someone in the woods for there first deer.
Took a disabled vet earlier this year and now this 15yr old. Gus is a single parent kid with MOM. He had a blast but not as much as I did. He did good and got to see quite a few deer before getting this smaller one. He wasnt going to wait for larger one and I dont blame him. First is always memorable. It not always the size that matters. Kids just love hunting. I challenge each of you to take someone hunting. |
Small deer = small targets. Great shot!!!!!
I took a disabled vet this year too. I really enjoyed it. The deer cooperated, but he missed - Twice. |

I take my 8 year old daughter with me.... Now I know two friends who took five years olds out this year and both got a deer. One was a guys granddaughter. I think it cool. I took a eight year old last year and he missed. He wasnt prepared to shoot a gun yet. DB |
