LOL I amost didnt see the JK I was about to say nooo way man lol....she went home with a huge smile on her face I am gonna hang the horns at my house for 2 or 3 weeks than give em to her as a keep sake from her first deer she made sure to let me know she wanted them lol

Oddly enough a good double lung shot typically brings down a deer quicker then a heart shot, just what I've seen from my hunting experiences. Don't understand why its that way though. I watched my father shoot a deer through the heart with a 12 guage deer ran about 150-200 yards before finally falling over in the middle of the field. Yet most of the other deer we shot were double long and they go about 30-50 yards if you hit high enough on the double long the seem to drop instantly guessing the impact disrupts the spinal column. Needless to say I'm not a fan of heart shots I don't like tracking.
