Never heard, would probably have to turn the little feller over to tell. That might make the mama abandon the fawn though.

sounds like an old wive' s tale to me

can' t find any mention of it in my books. Just says that fawns have 2 rows of spots on either side of the spine from the head to tail, with random spots on the sides. Makes no differance in the sex.

I' ve never heard that either. I' m sure the spots vary somewhat from fawn to fawn, but I doubt seriously they have anything to do with sex.:)
