Big Buck Tag Team

Opening day of second shotgun season my dad and I were sitting about 100 yards apart. First off, my finger grab on my shotgun slide broke while I was pulling my gun up. I spotted 2 bucks coming up from the south. They went around me straight towards him. He had his muzzleloader pulled up on the one, when the other one stopped and stared right at him so he decided to shoot. He had to shoot it through the chest. The other buck ran south towards me and slowed down about 40 yards away. I popped him and he went down about 20 yards away. After that I grabbed my scope and could wiggle it up and down. It was just our day.

I shot the 12 pointer and he shot the 8 pointer.

Quick rough was 150-160 on the 12 point. Around 140 on the 8. That's gross total inches.
