and after season i'll most likely be buying myself a new treestand, looking at the Gorilla scout, $100 hangon that weighs only 9 lbs!

if the bills are paid im happy, that and a nice venison dinner w/ family.

I was wondering when this thread was gonna be started! Well already got 100.00 gift card to bass pro from work. I hope just HOPE for a bow I wanna get started bow hunting, so anything towards a bow I'll be one jolly guy!

To hunt a little in the morning and have a great dinner with family later in the day. As for getting myself another present, not sure but either a match grade target or another deer killer, we'll see!

Christmas is for kids. So all I wish for is to see all my nieces and nephews having a wonderful time Christmas Eve and some nice smiles and a sparkle in the eyes of our 3 boys on Christmas morning.

Oh, and one more thing that I guess would be for me. I hope and wish that my Mom will again spend the night Christmas Eve to be here Christmas morning with us for gifts and a nice breakfast and coffee.

You just don't know how many years you may have left with your loved ones so make the most it while you can!

I had a two man ladder stand on my list. When the wife and I went to Menards this week they still had a few of the one I wanted so the wife told me to grab it. I got my christmas present early. I just can't wait to get me and the daughter in it come October for the youth hunt.

My list for Christmas is to be able to get a few things for my kids, and not have my medical bills go to collections. A deer for the freezer would be cool too!

Well...I could go all nice and sweet and say dinner with my loving family and all that stuff but that's pretty much a given.

I asked my wife for a handheld GPS unit. My ranch is very rough and rocky and its easy to get lost/turned around. I'd like to get a better handle on the lay of the land and mark off a few places, expsecially in the back end that's largely unexplored and pretty wild.
