want new barrel for encore,need help
thinking of getting new barrel for my encore for deer hunting,but in indiana can only rifle hunt with pistol cal.what would be the best cal. to get that T/C offers?any suggestions thanks

if i read the regs correctly it has to be a "straight walled" case, i know i have a 7mm-08 encore pistol but that dosen't help you,,,
as far as actual pistol cals, i have a marlin lever gun in 41 mag that i have killed 3 deer with, good 100 yard and less gun, but thats about it... i think i would look at the S&W 460 line.... |
No need to go exotic or anything. Just get a .44 mag barrel

Options in an Encore would be: 44 Mag 454 Casull 480 Ruger 50 AE 500 SW I believe these are the only options TC offers tha tmeet the specs laid out by the IDNR. I too live in Indiana. |
