Illinois 25 point buck
heres the story from our chicagoland newspaper. Guess the guy shot at the deer hit it in the ear and it fell off a 20 foot cliff and drown.

as a side note ....call me a skeptic.....but are we sure that "ear shot" isn't a story to cover for an ear tag he removed from his farm deer? I suppose other people said they saw it in the area too....so I'm probably just being paranoid.

Hell of a deer, and if it were me, I wouldnt feel as if I killed it, which he did not. Therefore kinda ruining the moment. Id prob. sell those antlers to Cabelas for a couple hundered thousand and buy tree pruners and limb saws out the ass...lol.
