Here's some more pics of the poached buck via a thread in the bowhunting forum. The thing is massive and news reports here say the green score indicates it would be a new world record for an 8pt. I'm not expert on scoring so I dont know but others on here have said there's no way its a record and that they've seen, have pics of and know people that have killed bigger 8 points in the past year or so.

That dead buck is a little more than 20 feet away. LOL! That would have been something to catch that fight on film!
You would think the buck would have given up after hitting it a few times first, by testimony of author's paint chip description, but did not and instead, went for the big one.
I'll give the buck one thing...
How many of you could get a running start, drop your head and knock over a 640lb. concrete statue, then go at least as far as that buck did? LOL! He gave it his all, that's for sure.
