Less than two weeks away till the orange hits the woods! What do you guys think this gun season is going to bring? With the way the DNR has been running things lately, questionable deer herd numbers, wolf population, etc.. I just think it's unpredictable. There sure has been a major drop off the last few years.

i think the rut is going to go a bit longer into gun season...which means more bucks shot...the weather sucks and the moon as well...the days leading up 2 gun will be prime 4 bow hunters

yeah, i agree with both you guys. It is going to be an unpredictable season with the predators, and i will say bowhunting has been very different the last week. I have seen more bucks this close to the gun opener than i ever have.

We are seeing a lot of small bucks but very few does. The does seem to move after dark and I think it may be because it is so warm. Too much corn standing as well.
