Default Kansas non-resident deer opportunities?

Hi,
I live in Colorado and was thinking about trying some public land hunting in KS. Are there any permits available (over the counter) to non-residents for whitetail deer this fall? If so, can anyone recommend any decent public land possibilities in western KS?

thanks all!

Go to the Kansas park and rec web site, all the info your asking for is on there. There is a lot of ground enrolled in the hunter walk in program, and if remember right right you should be able to print it from a pdf file. Good Luck, Shoot a Big One

Any left over permits will likely be in areas with very little public access. Before laying your money down,I'd make sure you can get permission to hunt some good private land.
