My hunting lease....not seeing any bucks.
 

I have 12 different bucks on camera at my lease and have not been seeing any of them on our lease. We have 700 acres with 13 guys on it. I shot a nice 7 point first week in oct with my bow and opening day of gun one other guy shot a nice main frame 8 with 2 kickers. Those are the only 2 bucks that have been seen and killed.

I just had 3 new bucks show up on camera just in the last week, but we just arent seeing them. Most pics are at night of course, but 1 buck showed up in the day time. I have tried grunting, rattling, the can, and have had no luck. I hope they move better than this when the rut starts. I just can believe with all the different bucks I have on cam that we are not seeing any more than we have.

We have 700 acers, the club next to us has 1300, and the one behind us has 500 and then there are about 4 clubs or so with 100-300 acre plots all around us. Maybe things will change next week????

700 acres with 13 hunters is too many for me. You probably won't have much response to grunting and rattlin until the rut kicks in.

Rut is about a week and a half away..be patient they will come..have you been seeing a lot of does?

The mature bucks always seem to disappear right before the rut. Just taking it easy before the work begins, I guess!

not many does at all! I hope this makes is a good rut. I hunted a place 2 years ago that was loaded with does and we never saw one chase the whole year! they just did not have to look hard for any does!

The 2 places I got pics of the does are the places the new bucks have shown up. I just hope I can get a shot at one next week!

13 hunters may seem like a lot, but only about 5 of us hunt hard and the rest just kinda show up here and there.
