Great job.....I'm hoping to pop my "bow" cherry on a buck this year. Lots of does, but no bucks big enough to take with my bow. Post pics. of the mount when you get it back.

thanks again everybody. just dropped him off at the taxidermist today. i decided to have it look like hes sneakin and lookin to his left with his ears laid back a little bit. oh and did i mention i already had a nice big venison steak sandwich thanks to him. didnt waste one part of this deer

Congrats! Don't feel bad about 12 years of waiting, i'm sure it was worth the wait. Besides, I've been hunting may a$$ off for 24 years now and have yet to put one on the wall. Heck it's been 11 years since I shot a buck. Plenty of does in the freezer, but I keep waiting for that one... he will come...and I will be ready.

it was definitely worth the wait. My uncle sounds like you. 19 years of deer hunting and he has yet to kill one deer. Granted, he only hunts the six day firearm season but that is a long long time. good luck this year. hopefully you'll get that wall hanger.
