Deer feed/attractant

I was wondering what all you use to feed or attract deer? It is illegal to use food to attract deer here in Indiana while hunting. But you can use it during off season and when not hunting, up to 10 days before. I want to just put some out infront of my trail cam. I dont have a fancy feeder or anything, just wanting to buy something cheap from Tractor Supply or some place. What all have you tried? thanks.

Apples or corn...... not sure about where you are, but here I can buy 50lb. bags off whole or cracked corn for 7.99.

jorswift, Call your local feed mills, I get 100 lbs of corn for $8.00 at my local feed mill.
also if you have any apple orchards in your area of IN. you can buy their apples that are not fit to sell for very cheap. Pike

Corn is the best deer attractant money can buy.

I spay thinned out cattle molasses on one of my small grass food plots after the last cutting. I spray 200 lbs of watered down molasses on the field. Can get it at a old feed mill for 20 cents a pound. What a sweet smelling field. My deer have rotten teeth though
