first off i am a redneck (thank you), second, it is physically impossible for an animal to live with out a functioning heart, lungs, or with out blood in them, so if you make a good shot or even a bad shot that animal 99% of the time can be recovered if you know what your doin, i have gut sht deer with a bow and recovered them.you got to wait em out and give them time

Redneck...check
Bowhunter...check
Riflehunter...check

I am certified as all three i guess, i believe that you may have had some unfortunate circumstances with the deer you lost, i would put more time in year round, practicing, knowing your equipment through and through is essential to bowhunting success

Also, I began when I was 16 and am now 27, rifle hunter since 12...practice, patience, not rushing shots, and taking clean, ethical ones has lead me to great experiences

I've been bow hunting since I was 11 years old and I'm 20 now...I've only lost 3 to date..If you put the arrow where u wud put a rifle or slug round..the deer will fall every time.no ifs ands or buts.

I have never seen a wounded deer come past my stand in all the years i have beenbowhunting. However I have seen deer with legs shot up,holes in the back, and laying there wounded or dead and not found MANY times.Every year during gun season can expect a call from farmer or friends asking if I need a doe for an EAB tag here in Wisconsin.Anyone that thinks more deer are lost or wounded with a bow has a be a MORON.

Yep, yep, another "perfect" shot!

Do you know how tired I've become of that quote! If the shot was perfect..... I got news for ya, the deer can't go ANYWHERE when you've collasped both lungs, you goober!

You could stick a deer with a butterknife thru the lungs and it couldn't cover 100 yards in the few seconds before it dies!

How about instead of spreading hate, you pretend we are on the SAME SIDE ?!? What are you.... PETA?
