I had the honor to meet and see the house where he lives and all his deer , Now I am going to be doing his brake lines on his truck...
Come to find Out he only lives a mile away from me!!!

He is just a 1/2 hour from me, I'm in Lopatcong

I have one of his books....the guy is sharp.

He is funny as hell also and very active for 83

I believe his son lives right next to my work. I've spoken to the son many times about his work, he comes to get his pool supplies from our store. Very nice family, very fun to talk to about their experiences.

It's been several years back but he came to INDIANA to give a speech i attend.H was the one that told us that our deer heard was out of control, way to many doe ,I think that's why we went to the 1 buck a year and more doe tags.Back to MR. RUE ,I really enjoyed listing to him .Then he showed us a slid show on how the deer heard was over ran and dying because there wasn't enough food for them during the winter .

I'll ask the question that others are probably wondering....
Who is Len Rue III

When I was younger I had his book, I think the title was "How to Hunt Big Game." I don't know where I got it from but I'm sure it planted the seed in me to want to get into hunting. My family was never into it.

Even the magazines that I do read, I rarely pay any attention to who writes the articles or takes the photos.

I would think Its easier to ask who "hasnt" heard of L.L. Rue to be honest, as far as wildlife photographers go hes a legend and will always be considered one of THE very best to have ever existed. In all serious hes a legend In the field and there probably Is not a wildlife or hunting book or magazine around that has not carried atleast several of his pictures.
